On the Basis of Sex

This biographical drama is based on the experience of Ruth Bader Ginsburg who, when her husband fell ill, attends both her and his law school classes while caring for him and their small daughter. When Martin’s cancer goes into remission he is hired by a New York firm and she eventually graduates top of her class only to be rejected by law firms because of her gender.
