A musician from Glasgow dreams of becoming a Nashville star in this gritty feel-good film. The feisty but vulnerable ex-con insists she should have been born in America and has to perform wearing an electronic tag inside her cowboy boots. Expect a cross between Brit-pic energy and Americana grassroots with some great music.
